Sorry bloke. No pics available, I was part way through reroofing a shed, overreached, and the 2000rpm drill jumped off the screw and bounced into the top of my thumb. Had to finish the shed, drive home, wife insisted I speak to the doctor and I subsequently spent 3 hours in A&E waiting for an x-ray to prove there was no foreign matter in the top of my thumb.
Oh joy. Five years later the thumb nail doesn't show any signs of what happened. Moral: Move the f*****g ladder, don't overreach. |
