Cheers bro, would like to think it's not the blind leading the blind

Yeh this could all be done to your Grandad's Terrano. Depends how much he wants you to mess with it Definitely fit a catch can bro and I'd recommend blanking the egr. I've heard mixed info on blanking the egr on the 3.0 Terrano, some seem to get away without needing to do anything to prevent the overboost issues while others immediately find the overboost protection starts kicking in (maybe due to the Terrano being lighter than a Trol and therefore less strain on the engine?).

Personally I wouldn't want to risk the overboost happening though

The other thing I would do is get the throttle body off and give it a clean

Here's my Provent
Don't be afraid to buy from Oz. My can was cheaper from Sydney than getting one sent from from Guildford!

I realise you COULD do all these mods to your Grandads truck, but do bear in mind that there are a LOT of us with late model 3.0ltr Terranos that are running just fine without any mods. I realise that there were issues with the early 3.0, but I understand that this problem doesn't exist with later 3.0ltr lumps.

Just my thoughts.

Awesome, Thanks for the info... Catch Can has now made it to the top of my shopping list!

Back to the boost gauges & dawes valve.... I had looked at a couple of diagrams, but I think I'll put it on the back burner for a bit!
