I suppose its only as good as your contacts on there!

I think willow is right, the on line community we have here has grown over time and perhaps for many of the face book entries i have seen people are just trying to build a community too fast with no common ground :?

as with many internet webby things there is a good and evil side and you must protect yourself against the evil to benefit from the good. Ebay, Instant messaging, to mention but a few. Facebook has its place and is, as you have heard a good place to keep in touch. I do not have a facebook by choice but my wife has and she loves it. It has reaquianted us with old freinds and work collegues that we may have not heard from otherwise. And you always have the chioce to accept or reject a contact that has made a request to be your "freind". It is a large and deep site with many features. not all good. My 88 year old mother is slowly learning the basics so it cant be that difficult. It has reunited her with members of her kin from around the world.

basicilly from me its a cautious yes

I have discovered that if you reject someone, they don't get a message to say you have rejected them
