From what I can see it looks as if you've got the single box system on yours Alex is so it'll be easy for you as you will just have to cut the box off & replace it with some pipe which you might find in the scrap pile at work if it's to load you could fit a free flowing cherry bomb centre box to quieten it down a bit

Too loud

It wont be noisier than my bike

Well I hope not or my ears will bleed.

I'm gonna give this a go, if I like it i take it I can just buy a small piece of exhaust to curve out to the side?

Buy have a good look in the scrap pile at work first mate you might find all the bits you need or tell the mechanic's what your wanting & they might have some stashed away & yes every mechanic has their own little stash pile & spot the bosses don't know about A 90' bend will do the job nicely

True actually, the amount of wheels i spotted out the back, they ain't cheap either

If I find a small piece of exhaust, can they be bent if needed or do they just break?

You would need a pipe bender to bend the exhaust but there is a chance you could find a bit with almost the right bend in it as for size i've no idea but one of the lad at work will be able to measure whats on as you'll want the bit of exhaust thats slightly bigger to sleeve over your exhaust unless your going to get it welded up

Long story really, but managed to keep a load of tools when my dad moved abroad

What type of pipe bender as the common 1s won't bend just buckle the exhaust pipe I did mine straight through 2.5" ss with bends from makeit fit could get bends of the bay and straight pipe welded with ss mig wire hope that helps
