Right kids been an gone an done it , after a couple of weeks trawling trader and flea bay went to look at 2 today , a proper nice '54 black with black 81k nice thing , then went to spy on a red 53 40k
Plumped for the latter like a new car pick it up next sat and bagged £600 for my mav p/x so got it for £2800 Do like a bargain [IMG][/IMG] |

2,7 , very close with eyam , from a lad in furness vale near new mills , only just took it in ,he does mostly vans and light trucks , picking it up next sat

i like it and tbh i would have gone 2.7 over 3 litre... theres plenty power and you dont need speed or you would have bought a fast car..
no timming bely does it for me... |

Picked car up yesterday ,drives mint , couple of things to sort , new tires tomorrow , order a fan resistor , get rid of dog smell
Book in for a couple of dings to get done , not this week tho got a mission to ipswich next saturday , not fitted swipers steps yet either ...........................got a bathroom to organise as well you know Russ |

I was torn between the 2.7 & 3L but after many hours googling about the 3L & the problems they can suffer plus the price of fixing one I went with what I know & bought my second 2.7TDI & slotted in a K&N filter which makes it more lively but also returns better MPG ie on a long run doing 55-60MPH i'm getting 34-35MPG. A remap is on the cards which should boost the output to around 155BHP
