If you mean can I log onto Free wi-Fi when in spain then yes it has that what I do at Taverna to surf the web.

When I have 5 mins I will let you have all the details I have as regards model number age etc. My wifes friend had it from new for about 18 months then the BBC went to Apple so she had to do likewise.

Thumbs down My phone its not a Desire my mistake its a HTC Wildfire

Sorry it's not a Desire its a Wildfire my mistake all sound similar to me. If that no good too old -no problem.

Model A3333
Android 2.1 (Eclair) with HTC Sense
512 MD ROM and 384 MB RAM
3.2 in touch screen
Wi-Fi IEE 802.11 b/g
3.5 mm stereo jack
Standard micro-USB
5 Mp camera with flash
Expansion slot micro \SD

Put a new battery in it about 5 months ago.
Its in a genuine leather flip case (not pseudo leather or plastic) made by PRO/TEC black outer with light brown beige inner VGC.

I have original box, information leaflet, charger, spare screen protectors and a spare leather effect cover brand new in pink. (was going to be for the Missus but she could not drive it)

Probably not what you want if its not it will stay in drawer until its an Antique.

I don't know how anyone can assess a phone by looking at it in Tesco or any where else ?
Go onto a comparison site that deals with phones and look at what's important for you. Like music for example, or camera or water proofness etc.
Try GSMarena , it's always helped me find what's what in a non biased way.

1.....DOES IT MAKE AND RECEIVE CALLS ?

2.....CAN IT SEND AND RECEIVE TEXT MESSAGES ?

3..CAN IT TAKE PICTURES ?( NOT TOO IMPORTANT )

4 .....IS IT RELIABLE ?

THOSE ARE MY CRITERIA
