You could do something with letters, like I am going to bed.
going =3 bed = 3 This makes it more obvious and gets rid of the maths with numbers. good night =5

i done it this way
How many enclosed circles are there in the number 8?there are 2 How many enclosed circles are there in 6 or 9 or 0 ?only one. How many in 1, 2, 3, 5 etc. none so they score zero Add up the scores for the numbers... 8080 = 6 enclosed circles... |
