Welcome to the club.
Having had Terranos before, and have not found the need to use this club, then they must have been very reliable.

If I find a reliable car, I keep it, I've now had my Mav over 18 years

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

But to be fair, a bit of TLC goes a long way.

best regards,

Rustic

Just wish I could drive it more.

First one was sold due to uncertainty with work, was a 2.7 se tdi lovely car. Second one was possibly my favourite car ever. Paid 1000 for it as it had a short mot. Was told it'll need some work to pass, so fired it in for its test to see.
It needed 4 tyres, wipers and a bulb. Had it 2 years and only got rid as this years test was a bad one in terms of welding. Sold it for 600 to a guy from Durham and bought our 2004 model in may.

My other car is a 2006 vectra Vxr,my toy

Well not amused today. Some rotten low life has smacked the front of our terrano, damaging the bumper and cracking the headlight. I appreciate accidents happen but this particular scumbag drove off without as much as a sorry far less any details.
Not going through insurance as the excess alone is 350 but to say I'm peed is an understatement. But what gets me is the driving off, that's why you have insurance, to cover third party losses.

Bar stewards! Had it done to me a few years ago on my Lexus, whacked o/s/r door in, then the sods even got out to key it from the front wing, over the roof and down the rear wing and boot lid!
Had cameras covering outside of the house & street since.

If I had it I'd be there myself lol. Had a guy out this morning sorting the damage. Decent job, but I can tell where it's been damaged. I'll have to try and source a new bumper

Yup, the headlight units are fairly cheap. And re the bumper id be tempted to live with it as a "battle scar" or source a cheap bumper.

I'm almost proud when I get a new scar on my terrano

Appreciate that bud, I've been out again today with some demon shine doing the whole bumper and it's pretty much unnoticeable now. I'm just going to stick with it.
