Me and the wife have been talking about this lately as im not known for keeping my motors long and nearly every car ive owned is worth a hell of a lot more now. Just a few of examples :-
Ford capri 1.6 Lazer in mint condition Ford Granada 2.8 Ghia (1983ish) Vauxhall Belmont SRi (1987 model) Classic shape mini's (5of) Metro turbo BMW E30 (3 of) All of these i now regret selling plus many more which is why i intend to keep the Troll because we all know they are not exactly common and if the time comes that she's not road worthy ill store her untill funds allow a rebuild. |

Had a 1957 Sunbeam Talbot in the early 70's when I married, we toured Europe in it towing a Bluebird hardboard sided van that had auto hydraulic jacks each side of the axle to level up when parked, also had vacuum servo brakes via two garage style air hose connectors to the car which I had updated with a separate servo unit, they were a common mod in those days, came into it's own over the Grand St Bernard Pass, we went over the top not the tunnel, they were the days, sold it to a yank from Chicago complete with a spare engine, rear axle and complete gearbox with add on overdrive, Rick
