sorry for delay in geting back,
just ot back fom 2 weeks with the rig in newforest and dorset. the cable you link to in argos is ok, if no pins are touchable when a cable is plugged in. guess that one coulb be used to convert a 25m van power cable to a standard 240v socket so could use as an etension in garden. we have opposite that allows 25m van cable to connect inot 240v socket in shed to allow fridge to cool at home and charge battery. i was under impression you meant had 2 240v plugs one each end which would be a totallty different kettle o'fish. carver heater should be warm/hot we have a 1800 and that keeps us snug in winter trips. may be best having gas fire and water heater serviced professionally. generally good idea to have an annual service of van. many companies will come to you.
