I too run mine on 100% bio and have a proper biodiesel reactor at home to produce decent quality bio! As has been said, the secret is in the washing, filtration and drying.

All my bio is Ph tested as neutral (neutralised with acid / phosphate as required) and it has been made in my family for around 2 years now.

My stepdad also has a commercial biodiesel manufacturing facility and sells at the pump for 105p/l. It costs me c. 15p per litre to manufacture, plus my time and plus the equipment cost (c. £2000). I get my waste oil for free (local Indian restaurants / pubs etc.)

Terrano runs v well on it, just remeber to change the fuel filter after the first 3 or 4 tankfulls, like has been mentioned. Smells of baking bread, not fish and chips as some think!!!

hi mate - i am in Macclesfield, so a bit of a trek from you!!! Well, 30 mins : If you want, i can supply you and i can also show you how i manufacture it so you will see it is top-notch stuff.

Alternatively, if you want to buy commercially from the pumps, i can put you in touch with a company in Preston (my stepdads place) and you can fill jerry cans 'till your heart's content!! At a slightly higher 105p per liter though

If you are interested, PM me. Thanks
