Eye and ear pro are a must.
Make sure your cheek is also in contact with the butt of the shotgun or you'll probably end up with a nice bruise just under your cheekbone.
Squeeze the trigger, don't yank at it and also try not to blink or flinch when you pull the trigger - easier said than done though.
Finger OFF the trigger until you're about to shoot.
Make sure whoever is getting your cartridges for you buys extra, 'cos shooting clay pigeons is fun!

Bugger, just found out more info, I thought it was a random fun thing in a field, it not it's at a equestrian place, I'm not alowed to shoot as I'm to young ohh and it's orgonised by a posh horsey women. And the people we are taking are two women, who are good friends both have 4x4s bassicly from what I heard it's quite a posh event so my T2 and I will 100% not fit in. Dunno why we were invited and I dunno why I was told such little about it until now, strange, should be good fun though, will take the camera

Great if one of their toff wagons get stuck you can use the terrano to pull it out.

WAIT! Just dawned on me this could be a young posh totty fest so while all the boring oldies are playing with their boom sticks you can keep the ladies entertained.

Default was strange but.....

was a good day, we ended up just taking just one freind as the others made their own way their, was a cool place, had loads of steep hill climbs off into the woods but i wasnt alowed to 4x4, and yes there was ( posh totty ), people smoked pipes and had black rangies, xc90's and L200's, so my blue T2 stood out, i'll put some pics on, after the shooting dad, Gail who is my friend and i went for a random day out, the shooting only lasted 30 mins
