personally, i think the system shoudl become more people friendly. Allow me to expand.
in this instance, Houfe's, the system should look at his record. Has he been caught speeding before? no? then give him a warning. If his speed had been excessive, like 50/60 upwards, then yes, three points and fine or whatever. But right now, its not, its indescriminate, and i think its that part that gets the heckles up of the decent law abiding road users such as Houfee-his punishment should have been a warning based on his ecellent track record. vote me for president/prime minister |

Agreed though, speeding, or rather getting nicked for it, is so arbitary. Round town, fair play slow down, 20 mph I've seen in some places, fair enough. Out in the sticks though, pleeeeese have some sort of sliding scale penalty / fine / points arrangement The speed awareness course for example is only available for first timers and even then not all over the country. I mean if anyone should be on that course it should be me |
