whats lhd deal, as has uk rear end, reverse to kerb fog to off side.

perhaps a brit that did lot of continental work?

suppose could have been swapped, like the colour not many black
ones from that era, more common along with silver on face lifted
arch design 04 onwards.

mines 2000 X, chosen cos it looked like Y reg might fall into next band,

i didnt really mind if was td6 or zd, there weren't that many to choose
from!

crazy why not 51 the band as a clear change in plates, but why tax
same car same emissions differently just based on its age.

cool be handy for those hyper market trips

nice boots on it as well, ready to play.

got a pal with a zd auto, plus davemuds is slush box.

sort of wish mine was....apart from the rebuild costs
if it went.

my zd was rebuilt just before xmas, overheating towing
HGF confirmed, head off found one the 3 cracked pistons
ouch, but its stunning truck to drive, 1700 kg caravan
dissappears on the back, apart from seeing it in mirrors.

The At's will be for sale for some 35 muds

or I might just get a spare set,

Snorkel and a 2"lift.

If the engine goes it WILL be V8 TDI

would that be GM V8, drool

is there a fitting kit.

much as i like the zd, on a good day...

id prefer a 6, the 4.2 as a td be nice,
seems shame to have all that room
in there then fill it with plastic cowl.

Definatly easy going, It's daves first trip off road / laneing, I've done this 3 - 4 times before.. There's only one possibly rough section, we'll have alook but will turn around easily if it's still rough. Nice drive great views ... Oh and a few good pubs!
Standard tyres will be ok 80 -100 mile round trip from the Pool but a worth while day I can assure you.

Yeah the 4.2D without the Turbo is a bit flat .. But it don't stop

I posted an ex military Armoured Personnel carrier that was on ebay, 6.2V8 GMC TD running and rolling chassis, he had 10 and they went for 2Grand minimum. Can't rember the BHP but there were 600Torques. With Dana Axels and Diff Lox.

if there are any more when I am in the market I will "make it fit"

Once the CAD plans are drawn up the Fabrication is as cheap for 2 as 1
