On the jeep it was easy, the ecu warning light came on, it seemed very sensitive to overfuelling.

Since then the car has gone like hot snot and returned very good mpg.

Could be tempted .................
You've got a Tunit on your Cheep? You old dog...is it the Tunit II or another variant?

Thinking about it.

I cant work out what the advantage of tunit is. Not knocking them at all. But theres a couple of very highly rated sellers on ebay who can supply one (as above) for under £100 as opposed to a tunit for around £400. Remap on my jeep is £157 but not particularly recommended.

The flea bay one we played with has been fitted for 3 months and working 100%

Im getting over 30 mpg stock ,as stated by jeep though Ive never hit the 34+ they claimed, so Id like to see if I can have the first 35mpg + grand cherokee

Probably wait until Ins renewal and go with someone like Petes who allow mods without silly prices

You think I'd pay £400????

Nah, a much more reasonable £230 after a bit of 'offering' on eBay for a refurb direct from Tunits own ebay shop....
