hi.
I cant remember if I said welcome to the club to you but welcome to the club. I too brought mine from a garage with a full mot. I don't know who passed it they should of been sacked. everything that should of been rubber was knackerd. I had to replace lots of bits as soon as I brought it. I brought it in winter at a high price, got it home and had trouble starting it constantly, changed the glow plugs did a service and still it wouldn't start. turned out to be the relay. or at least I hope , I will find out in winter I suppose. The tyres had been reversed to make look ok and he even give me a recipt for new tyres.cheeky twat. my point is ive done all the jobs (apart from the rattly gearbox). and the body work is sound with not much rust.the chassis has now been fully hammerited and waxoyled. the engine and box have been serviced with every oil and filter.the diff oil is new and I feel confident its as good as its going to be for its age. things are going to fall off and break but everything can be replaced easily enough and there is more info on here that one brain can manage. everyones friendly and a few might even come help you out if local enough. don't be to disappointed with your new motor. As long as the body and chasis are ok bear with it and bond. get these jobs done and trust your motor as nissans are brill |
