Sometimes is better to move on and leave the swines to dig their own grave... I just find it bloody frustrating they always seem to get away with it.
I hope your truck is sorted very soon and your back on the road.

Let's crack on with the repairs!!!

Well done with seeing the solicitor. I can totally see where you are coming from with regards putting some distance between yourself and that nasty cnut!!!

Here's to the future!

briggie, I have no problem with whatever decision you make. Have had some difficult situations myself and sometimes its best to draw a line in the sand and move on rather than getting into protracted wranglings and headaches with unreasonable people. Looking forward to hearing what the garage has to say as there is still the off chance this will turn out ok. On a nicer thought, now wouldn't that psi power box and k&n filter for sale by another member be sweet to have under the hood of your truck if the repairs don't turn out to be as bad as feared and there's a few bob left over. Your satisfaction on planting your bum firmly behind the wheel of one of these trucks and enjoying the benefit of some extra tweaking when u give it a bit of stick would surely help in erasing some of the more unpleasant memories of the whole situation.

With you every step of the way, Pete.

Lets get that truck sorted and find out if there are any lanes
worth doing round your way, if not then theres more than
enough in Derbyshire for us all.

Pete, given your circumstances I think you have made a wise decision.

I have a very simple philosophy in life "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" (I'm not remotely religious by the way)

Life will sort him out

Let us know once the garage has had a look.
