Is it just two members who organise a get together that others might join if they can make it.? Maybe, we publicise ALL meetings, date, time place, objective, eg lane, camp, coffee, meal. It would suit me better, I would hate to be part of a meet, and then pull out literally on the day, or even during the meet. I have been really good since chemo on Thursday, best yet, but... suddenly I feel fatigued and look for a bed or comfortable chair for a couple of hours for a rest. So best do your own thing, We'll join in. It is something I would like to do. Uncle Rustic

It'll be good to put faces to names and I'm hoping there'll be more than one meeting. |

More than one meet?
I replied to Zippy as he'll be in Sheffield so close enough to have a quick mini meet. I was thinking have a larger meet maybe a weekend nearer to Staffordshire when Uncles feeling up to it. My thinking is that a weekend so that it allows members from further a field chance to pitch up for a night maybe a camping site with a hotel nearby. I thought this would be a more inclusive meet, aren't I being politically correct for once Nothing to stop us having as many meets in whatever areas that people want. |

I'd be looking at camping, and just to raise the stakes a campsite that permits campfires (that'll be a farmer's field). There's no point in camping if you can't sit around a campfire. |

This is great, there really is a great group of people on here
I'm keeping an eye on this from afar as whenever anything happens I need to make sure I can book a holiday (as I work weekends) and I also need to finish my truck which there really is no timescale on at the moment as its not just engine work. But if I can make anything I will be there. |
