yep, it is definatly broken and the damper is internal plus the whole thing is welded into the coupling. so I need the whole thing, it is always stored with the handbrake off

without the damper there is no control over the brakes which is a bit scary as when I brake gently with the car the brakes come full on on the caravan and it skids. luckily when the damper broke i was only a mile from my destination

hi all,
the tyre size is correct thats the old size now not used much on cars really, the profile is usually "80" which is standard, and the least ply rating to fit is 6 ply, and dont go for second hand buy new its not worth it for the piece mind, just my two bob's worth
