Does anyone know if these codes apply to a 3.0 terrano?

Default EML flashing

hi I have a mistral on a 1996 "n" reg -(square headlight) I don't have a key fob for my vehicle just ordinary keys. I do have an alarm - although the only time it goes off is if you disconnect and then reconnect the battery.

I think mine could be just the basic NATS 1

Any not much help to you sorry

good luck with your truck - stick with it I love my motor and it has been a really good workhorse and family car

Some of the codes will be the same, the finite list is in the (downloadable) workshop manual.

The ZD30 IP is very different from the 2.7L, it is a VP44 type. This IP contains embedded electronics inside of it and is able to control the whole injection process without the aid of the ECU.
It is possible to start the engine with the ECU disconnected from the IP, it will of course only idle though, although this may help diagnosing the possible NATS issue.

good price, if it is sound rust wise then well worth spending money on it to get it going, Rick

It is NATS 2 so cannot be bypassed to my knowledge, as said before call a mobile locksmith/tuning guy for around £60 he will hook up his computer and ten mins later the key transponder will be talking to the ecu again, unless of course some other damage has been done, Rick
