the jack is actually under the rear seats in the middle on the mistral

hmm...have a look at both sides of the rear door. on mine i have a hatch housing the jack, i wonder if you have anything there? just a thought,...

My jack is in a panel on the passenger side boot space - and it does rattle occasionnally if it works lose, so worth a check

trust me , the bottle jack is in a clip under the back seats , ive seen it lol .... perhaps ive got a hybrid ? lol

er .... dunno , ive been a bit busy down here sorting out a major water leak on the boiler and trying to dry out the bedroom / hallway carpets
