hi mate and welcome. the mistral dont have a maf. the gearing is very slow and acceleration is slow. its built for comfort not racing starts. takes some time to get used to using the throttle properly but once you have its fine. still, check the mini filter and a good service is an idea.see the threads on here for info

Could be, the bloke I bought my last car from sold it really cheap because he though it was buggered - it was just a diesel !

yes we will defo do a few meets next year, we got some work to do on it though looks a bit tatty just now but we will get it up to scratch . thanks for not extracting to much urine .

i wouldn't worry about condition of the car we are not to to scrutinize mine isnt exactly show room condition and we can always throw mud at pete's motor lol

any ideas if you want to use the car off road or not ?

come to one of the play days you dont have to do what you dont want to do and if you want to ride in another motor befor you play i am sure their will be spare seats somewhere

There is usually an upholsterer in your local yellow pages that can do it for you, otherwise like you say visit a breaker. Trouble is a good set may be expensive so it might be worth getting a quote for both
