Tis a bad idea though, once it fails, it over rules your current MOT you see, so a pre test is definately needed in my case.

What does the law state for exhausts then? - can I just have a small can on the end of the pipe that points the fumes out from the underside of the cab?

how sure are we ARBS dont fail? my old plate that it once bolted to is all sheared..

Alex - IMHO I think are very, very silly to even consider that way to get an MOT cert. Even more so plastering it all over the forum and internet, you just don't know who is who and where they work

And it once it's on the www it's there for good and for all to see...

Boy oh Boy.... what a ...king idiot

You get my vote of no confidence...

So as said above, we all know your vehicle,
We all know what it looks like.
We all know that you now believe that you are driving a vehicle with potential defects. The defence of "I didn't know." .. no longer stands as a defence as from TODAY...
We all know your vehicle registration number.
We now all know when your MOT is due
We all know you are looking for a bent MOT
We all can assume that when you get your next MOT it is most likely going to be from a crook, who should be put behind bars for his crimes.

So when the police finally put two and two together, and thanks to your evidence printed on sites like this, a group of criminals could be going to jail, now some of them won't be going to prison, I think they will be able to find out where you live, as chief witness to the crime, your details will be published in the newspapers. Mind you, you shouldn't worry, you'll be in the next cell.

I hope that you and your family sleep well.
Please don't bring your dodgy vehicle within 20 miles of me and my family, and I would think many other members on here.

My Brother in law is a retired police officer, my late Father in Law was a retired Police Sergeant. My next door neighbour is with the police force too.

Hmm.... it's not only the people you know that you should worry about either.

I just cannot believe what you write on the " World Wide Web"

boy oh boy...

I give up...

I am on holiday at the moment, have been for three weeks, I have looked in, but this is the first time I have resorted to comment.

If we even consider using this site for the encouragement of crimes, to which bent MOTs are, then I will bid you all good day...

I suggest that the moderators discuss this and delete this entire thread....

What a plonker !!

Default If you have an MoT it is not invalidated by a fail.

Not true if you have an MoT it is valid until it expires despite what MoT testers might tell at the likes of Quickfit.

The fail is recorded on the mot system though.

Alex, I don`t think I am alone in considering that your post has pushed the very edge of goodwill and reason. Whilst your enthusiasm and interest in T`s has been supported and nurtured by all here, your current request is outrageous.
Rein it all in Alex, please, now........

I really don't think this is the case..

Certainly not what I've known from honda n jag.. Perhaps I'm wrong.

Everyone is far too worried about all this.. I'll get it sorted
