Any chance of these becoming available for the ZD30?

I would only use a chip/remap for the 3.0 bud as it needs all the factors to be adjusted - tweaking one factor on its one eg. fueling without tweaking others to suit seems to be a contributing factor to the 3.0 having issues.

OK

Wasn't sure what the tuning box was offering. I'm slowly working my way through dealing with sooty exhaust emissions. Have cleaned the throttle body, and intend to do the EGR/manifold etc. Next up is air flow/fuel since I suspect it's overfuelling.

Cheers

Wink

I could be wrong but I think these boxes just increase fueling for the 2.7s that don't have a manual pump to turn up - 3.0 is a more modern design of engine so needs a bit more finesse

Certainly don't need more fuel through

Thinking in terms of snorkel and filter with better air flow to satisfy the current set up.

If there is too much fuel then you need more air, check your turbo, turbo actuator, intercooler and pipes etc.

I checked and cleaned that lot and the throttle body a while ago, need to get down and dirty into the EGR and manifolds now. Once I've given it a good clean I'll give it a blast and see how it goes. Other than clouds of soot there's no other issues at the moment, regularly accelerates up Garrowby Hill quite nicely

I've managed to get mine working again

This is what mine looks like, I'd love someone to be able to identify it, all I know of it as is a "Powerchip" I brought it from Puddle Hoppers Inc if anyone remembers him, I might hit the search up to see if he ever posted any info about it.

Put it on the highest setting earlier and I keep managing to lift a wheel every time I corner under acceleration

I'd be interested to see pictures of the tuning box that George is selling in comparison to mine

Mine has 4 wires to the Bosch IP harness and 1 to the MAF so looks like mine increases air and fuel maybe?
