Might be worth cleaning that switch on the accelerator. if you haven't tried that.

No i have'nt to be honest. I always fear springs and stuff flying out and not knowing where they go back.

just spray switch cleaner into it, don't open it up

hi chaps, thanks to Ryan for opening this thread for me I really appreciate it, thanks for the kind words also, been in the club a lot of years and its sad to let the truck go.

ANyhoo, ill be listing all the parts I have removed today shortly, with pics and prices. I want all parts gone asap, the car will be collected for scrap probably next week-so if anyone thinks of any parts they want that aren't listed, please just ask and ill see what I can do.

its a shame I cant get the clutch out...it was new no more than a couple of years ago and probably only has 5k miles on it! ah well...

ignition switch £10
temp sensor £5 (fairly new)
Heater resister (Richard Thomas gets first dibs)
No1 injector (£120 new bought 19/02/2010 no more than 5k miles on it) £50
washer pump £5
CKP sensor bought 29/03/2010 for £199 so its perfect-£90
Hitachi MAF - £20 working perfect
Thermostat - £5 fairly new
Thermostat housing £5
pioneer deh-1330r cd player - £15
run off pipes £5
HI/LO horns (fairly new) £5
Accelerator pedal - £30
Cup Holder - £5
positive cable and earth straps plus clamp £10 (cable was very expensive when I had it made up at the factors)
steering wheel cover £5
aux belt - free to whoever buys some stuff
wipers £5
bump stops £5 pair-bear in mind they are simply broke off...
headlights, chrome front, £10 each incl bulbs
starter motor - working perfect £40
K&N - not many miles on this but needs a clean-proper K&N not a copy £10
fuel filter housing - £10
Rear silencer exhaust - £10 couple of years old
rear silencer/centre box - just bought a couple of month ago - £30 (will need gaskets)

Does it have the mounting as well?

In fact, how much for the filter and the housing... I also need the Sunvisor clips that are either side of the rear view mirror.

£15 the lot plus postage- if you need any other small things that will fit in the package you can have them for free
