Back plate re fitted, notice the temporary bolts to pull it back, this was because the rubber gasket/seal around the rear main seal housing was slightly damaged so applied some RTV to seal it

Flywheel and clutch on, lined up by finger feel comparing centre plate to pressure plate diameters

Box ready to go back with RTV to seal, it slid in with no problems, I do like the transmission jack and it will come in handy for adding air springs to the rear axle a bit later on

Back in and jack moved to the rear in order to remove the mountings for inspection, Rick

It has occurred to me that many of you may be thinking that I am a bit slow and you would be right, but at 77 I think that is acceptable, just a thought, Rick

Excellent work Rick! Very jealous!
Hopefully I am still as fit as you at 77. Who cares if it takes a day longer as long as it gets done. At least when you do it yourself you know that it is all done correctly. |
