Default Right pleased wi misen.

today I did my first oil change on my Mazda MX6. By that, I mean the first time I have ever performed the procedure!
Everything seemed to go ok apart from the cost of course, and initially i couldnt get the darn sump plug loose. Once done though it was a breeze, only issues are space with these cars, even though jacked up onto axel stands, still got to lay down to do the work. Put some quite expensive oil in, 5w40, so should see me well into the year.

I also decided to attempt a coolant change, which I have done before, but i have never removed the coolant reservoir. Typically this was in the front arch, access via removing the inner wheel arch cover. I couldnt get it removed, so gave up due to being rained on. Flushed the rest out but didnt do a full on proper job, and now my reservoir is too full so need to purge the system again tomorrow, hey ho!

good fun innit.
