Well i got the old girl back in the garage .
Had a quick look underneath her skirts.
APART FROM A GOOD STEAM CLEAN TO GET ALL THAT DERBYSHIRE MUD OFF THATS BEEN ON THERE 3 YEARS ITS STILL SOLID .

SO MAY HAVE TO PUT AN MOT ON HER.

bit of paint then maybe sell her.

hi extreme.
not really thought about selling her before .
truths known she is just in the way.
I hung on to her when i bought the disco just in case it died on me.
i parked her up with 6 months tax and 8 months mot.
would consider selling her as she is.
put jump battery to her turned over once and she fired up .
she runs as sweet as a nut.
near new tyres all round .
new front callipers
new rad
new heater rad see pictures in how links
recon power steering pump week before i parked her up.
recon gearbox fitted not long before i bought her. (it was still shiny).
BAD BITS .
both front wings i repaired cut rust out and plated them skim of filler.
blistering and rust spots were water has got behind filler.
I didnt bother with making her to nice or wouldnt want to green lane her .
exhaust manifold has a snapped stud where exhaust bolts on. I gust put a bit of exhaust paste on it and it lasts for a few months.

I met someone who used to own her in a fuel station not long after i bought her.
it was he who told me it was pre production .
first reg 12/5/93. some swb and lwb were supplied to dealers to promote them.
if i remember correct first trucks to be resisted were in june.93
as i say there are also the two dip sticks.
issue with replacement rad with hose connections on other end.
dont know who first owner was.
