I am putting an induction kit on this weekend if i have the time
But it will have a detachable snorkel

Have you gone in deep water with it

I've had bow waves over the bonnet momentarily with no problem, but obviously prolonged exposure wouldn't be great, just as with the standard airbox....but then I was looking tonight while fitting my fanbelt for the third bloody time (!!)...the filter is at the same height as the battery terminals for example (immediate short!).

I think you'd be surprised what you can wade in without going to the trouble of a snorkel....as said before, water inside your truck won't be much fun...
