A question for Pick-up owners
Those of you who have double cab pick ups that are YOUR personal not company, how/who do you insure them through. I have a new idea for my next car, as Ford Rangers are only group 8 insurance and Navara's are only group 6! So gonna go for one but when you go thru Tesco etc online they don't list the pick ups as a car to insure?
I would've thought NFU would insure one but haven't had a chance to ring them Cheers For Help! |

Try Sureterm and Adrian Flux both do specialist 4x4 insurance and both offer club discount.

I'm insured by Tesco. When i bought the Nav i called them to transfer my cover. The first person i spoke to was a bit confused, I then got through to a very well informed guy and the deed was done in about 2 minutes.

NNMan just run that bit about NFU charging no premium for points past me again? Since living part time in Wales I've won six bl**dy points in 12 months on what was a clean licence for >10 years and Direct Line want an extra £40 for each lot of 3 points on every policy I have - thats £40x2x3=£240!!!!!
How do you know they didn't charge extra - did they say as much and was there any qualification, e.g. 3 is ok but not 6?!!? |

Yes I told them I had three points and the price did not go up any but they said any more and it would.

If you do go for a ranger replace the rear leaf springs they snap for the fun of it! £55 for a single set from milners so £110 for the 2 but you will save that as an individual leaf from ford is £30.
