Default It's been a while

As the title says,it's been a while since i visited and posted on here.
My head hasn't really been in it over the last year what with health problems and stuff but i'm slowly getting my mojo back.
had the lwb auto off the road with transmission issues but i've finally bought a second hand box to put in so hopefully it will live again.
Been using the swb 3.0 Ltr for the last couple of years and i can't wait to see the back of it.
It's nicknamed the black curse as everytime i go out another new problem rears it's head
Be interesting to see who is still on here.

Yes I am well, got a few aches and pains but comes as you get older, still have fun at pay and play sites, might try and go on Sunday but got lots to do at home as well, there never seems enough time in a day, how about you,
Rick

Good to see you back Elty!

Hopefully I continue my Patrol Project thread. As Rick has already mentioned, not much happening on the forum. A great shame.

Iv'e made a start on dropping the transmission from the LWB auto.
it's just been sat under a cover for nearly two years now
hoping to have it back on the road by July time but noticed some fresh rot on the front inner arches showing it's ugly head.
started making a list of parts that will need replacing but thankfully it's not that long(yet)
look forard to reading the progress on the Patrol

Sorry Elty, only just read your post.

A website that you may find useful: https://yoshiparts.com/en/parts/car/nissan
Look at the parts diagrams and it gives you all the Nissan Part Numbers. They have warehouses in Dubai and Japan and are able to supply genuine Nissan parts. However, I normally see if Autodoc do the part. They are Germany based but VAT registered in the UK so no import duty to pay.

Hopefully you got the Trol sorted or nearly sorted by now.

Hi All,

Seems still got admin rights here, well get odd emails from the site, often from Rick! about spammers.

Not sure if you know but we lost Briggie, peter few months ago. tbh only just found out in last few weeks from Jim and had already had his funeral. Messaged occasionally jokes and stuff, bless him got me into Amateur radio about 5 years ago. i recall he and I representing the Club at Plank's, Chris, funeral which was about 10 years ago.

Still running the jeep grand cherokee, though its getting on at 18 years old soon. may well replace it with a newer JGC, theres not as many big SUVs about these days is there. need a big 'un for the 7m tin tent. Guess theres the X5 and Q7 but neither are off roaders. Maybe a nice Navara would get me back in clan properly!
