And a happy new year to you too Jim and any others looking in, but I hasten to add I do not know what the year is going to bring you all, I did say in March 20 if you want to look back, that lockdown and covid spending will bankrupt the country, now you can see I was spot on the money, and they are only telling you part truths as time goes on, but it will get a lot worse.
Having said that one and all have the best new year you can muster, have a good one. I will be in bed soon after midnight as off to Piccadilly wood tomorrow and it is well wet and muddy so aiming to have a glorious day, regards Rick

Have a great time in the mud Rick. As for the past three years we cannot change what has happened and any government will never tell us the whole truth, I find it better to leave politics alone as that is beyond my control and I get irate with them all.
I normally don’t celebrate NY as it’s normally same muck just another number. All Im hoping for is plenty more adventures in my van, hopefully the outer Hebrides. My niece is due to have a youngster in July so fingers crossed another healthy family member. |

Go with that Jim, no problem, as for me and a mate had an utterly fantastic day at the wood and came home to have a full Xmas dinner cooked by my dear wife Maggie for a couple of mates that live alone, so all in all a fantastic start to the new year, have pics but will start a new thread for these tomorrow as worn out now, Rick
