So here I am naked after a bath outside -4
Yep that is me and toasty warm with my wood burner, cold day but sunshine = our total daily Kwh usage, so well happy, only needed to use a Ltr or 2 of Kero for hot water and a bath, life off grid is pretty good, Rick

I think most of us are envious of your energy bills Rick especially with how everything is going up.
I kept tweaking the heating controller to slim down the temperature at different times of the day. As a result we have started getting damp patches due to condensation in places we have not suffered it before. Week before last I was sat at my desk with several layers of clothing, 2 pairs of socks, a woolly hat and fingerless gloves. I thought to myself how can this be that in 2022 a couple who have worked all their lives and tried to do the right things end up like this. I have changed the controller whilst it is so bitter but when the weather warms up it’ll be getting turned back down. We have both got some back pay in our latest pay packets but instead of a treat or banking it we will be able to pay the bills. I honestly think the world has gone mad. |

Jim the world has always been mad but since Covid and the way people just caved in to all the stupid rules and regulations they now know that they can do what they like, we are all being scammed left right and centre, the reality now is that due to the money wasted on covid crap (some £400 billion) it now has to be paid back (I highlighted this at the time but nobody wanted to know) that is why at the time when oil was cheap I bought 5000 ltrs at 0.27p ltr (still a considerable outlay at the time) and am still using it, that money today will only buy me 1600 od ltrs, the gas and oil companies are making vast profits and people are jus letting it go, me I have paved the way with foresight and can just cock a hoot to them all, insulation is your way forward to keep warm, my entire living area would probably fit in your lounge, but it is well insulated and suites the 2 of us perfectly, again I am typing this at 2.30 in the morning with the wood burner shut down, temp out -1 temp in 25, floor temperature 21, I have nothing on and barefoot on the floor and quite happy, but this has not just happened, as an energy and insulation specialist this was planned in 2007, hope I have not borred you,Rick

The Convid times were all about controlling the people, it was never about controlling a virus. We have been living with coronavirus for centuries, it was shocking to see people quiver just because they were told to do so. I have never worn a mask, never used hand gel, never been injected and never had covid.... We now have the so called climate problem which is a completely false narrative, it is being used to get more money back out of our pockets. Energy companies don't actually supply energy, they supply bills. The national grid system supplies the energy. If CO2 was so bad why are military forces all around the world burning millions of gallons of fuel daily simply carrying out training exercises. Why are airlines being allowed to do the same just so people can sit on a beach in the sun. My apologies, I'm rambling on now |

They will only wake up when the box in the corner of the room tells them to, so it will never happen.... people have accepted everything with their eyes wide shut.
These last two and a half years have shown how easily manipulated the vast majority of humans are. |
