Default Bit of snow...

So we had a bit of snow start of last week... would've been a shame to waste it

Had a great late afternoon/evening driving around checking things out

Pulled a car up a hill and back home through their uncleared street, offered help a couple times but wasn't needed and finished off by Trolling up a 10⁰ sloped street near me (last couple pics) I was the only set of tyre tracks and she did it with ease

Does your oil gauge not work then Rob? Wish we had snow like that here even if only one day, Hastings has some nice steep exposed roads that take a hammering when it snows and makes them a challenge, last time it was worth going out I had a bog standard T2, but nothing stopped me, would just like to try it in the Troll, Rick

aggressive off road tyres on wheels so just swap.
Aim to get stuck and be completely self sufficient in extraction, love getting muddy, 2ft deep is good but rare.

It does but the sender in the TD42s has a rep for being unreliable - warning light works fine and the needle moves up as soon as you give even a little revs. Reads fine when cold, it's just as she heats up it stops registering properly. Even running at revs she'll intermittently drop sometimes then randomly come back up. Like I said, classic TD42 thing.

Weedave had the same classic sender issues I have and he's sent me a brand new OEM sender to fit but I was waiting to do that when I change the oil. She's due now but weather has been mince for streetside working and I've been busy with other things.

The OEM one now has a wee breather pipe and Dave said it sorted him right out
