British Weather!
Me and my brother went out for a spot of Long Range shooting yesterday...
Besides the ton of equipment we need to take including some very heavy steel targets, we're glad we didn't forget the Basha! |

Basha seemed to do well for you just the same.
I like those awnings that pull out from the side and then kind of pull out to cover an area over the tailgate too. Bet they cost a bob or two though. |

Yeah, think they are called 'Fox Wings' (Maybe just one version or brand)
They're pretty pricey! |

Nice setup!
If I may ask, what distances where you shooting, and with which gun/scope/ammo? Unfortunately, civilians over here in Kafka country are limited to 100m ranges. Hardly long-distance... |

On this particular day I was shooting my Custom Rem 700 .223
She's been tinkered with to shoot 80Gr bullets which I load myself at home. The scope I use is a NightForce ATAC-R (5-25 x 56) The target was a 20"x 20" steel gong measured out at 863 Yards! |

800+ yards with a 223, nice
As said, no possibilities for proper long range shooting here in Belgium. Although I hope to visit the long range in France or Holland some time next year. |

I shoot on a friends farm and have a safe 1400 yards to shoot.
I've spend alot of money getting the .223 to preform at those ranges, but it's too much guess work after 1000 yards. (I'm pleased with its performance though, very reliably and fairly constant out to 900!) I'd like to get a 6.5mm CM next. |

.308 here, and probably next year something heavier, as .308 is considered the lower limit for use on wild boar overhere
But that is of course on much closer distances. |
