Default Nissan Patrol adventure- sat nav

Hi everyone ,
i have a Nissan patrol adventure 07
hopefully someone can help me i can only put street names into my sat nav, does anyone know how to put a post code in? if so i would love to know i have tried everything but just cant seem to do this, surely this can be done,i would be great full thanks Rep

Hi, I have a Nissan Navara, Its the same, I don't think if will work on post codes, only Streen names

The sat navs are absolutely crap.
You spend half an hour putting the address in using that daft stick, then it can't find it.
I use Google maps on me phone.

My 2005 plate Jeep is the same but you should be able to use the GPS system to add favourite locations and name them if that helps.

A lot of manufacturers did not use postcodes until relatively recently. Even Mercedes were very late in using full Postcode entry throughout the range. I still rate TomToms as a good buy my spare Satnav is a TomTom from 2007 and though it has had the connector socket connection repaired she works well after 10 years.
