I'm thinking about putting somekind of upgraded lighting under the auto selector because it's a bit on the dull side. Has anyone ever taken that apart to replace the bulb?

Alex the T5 led is only for illuminating the lcd area in the centre.
As for using blue ones I find them a bit bright. As mentioned you could try sanding them first. |

following on from another post that I now cant find, I ordered a bunch of the T4.7 LED lamps for the LCD display on my 2004 Terrano. theyre too big
so, I think I have ordered the correct ones - T3 LED units. the measurements they posted online match mine. once they arrive, and I get them working, I will post up some pics, and the links for them |

Can't remember this thread but I haven't seen LED dash bulbs that light up the clocks blue and retain the red needles. Looks far smarter than some I've seen.
