Is there no other work round for this, cannot believe that we have to put up with the current situation, it is a step backwards not forwards like it should be, Rick

What was on the old front page that you are missing Rick?
The old front page was a 'bolt on' product that relied on its developers continued development. The bods who wrote the code no longer do so, so it is impossible to get an updated version of it. The reason it stopped working is because the PHP version we are now running does not support the outdated code that it was written in. We had to move forward with PHP versions because the version we were on was end of life. |

I am totally with you Rick, It's kind of lost it's identity, now it looks just like any old boring message board. we all know its not but new visitors will i'm sure be underwhelmed, and now ther are all the Facebook stuf too. I just dont think it's good enough. .There was so much useful stuff on it too. IMO,It's time for someone to putt there hand in their pocket and use our subscriptions to pay for a new front page developing.
