So, currently at home with a nasty cold turning into something worse it seems. But, being bored to hell, and with the snow almost gone, I decided to change oils on my T2. And afterwards to take it for a spin.

Good thing it turned out: while ambling along the lanes of our rough shoot syndicates' terrain I noticed the Patrol of one of our land owners standing around. When I got close, wanting to say hi and have a chat, I saw another car, definitively beached in a ditch, trailer all aho on the side.

As it turns out, driving a normal Citroën with a trailer on freshly thawed out rutted tracks will end you in a ditch :).
The Citroën guy called the landowner, who sent his wife with the Patrol. But the poor lady had no clue about 4x4 or driving backwards - and did not have any tow straps whatsoever with her...

In the end, I first towed the Citroën back to paved road (only 200m), then recovered the trailer, and helped the Patrol lady to back out of the lane :)

Worst thing is, I see loads of roe deer around now, and with this damn cold I cannot go deer stalking. Coughing does not help your chances...
