Mr Citroen was insured with direct line
08:35 and they were on the phone, admitted total liability asked if we wanted them to arrange collection of the merc and its repairs, I also had a courtesy car dropped off for today while they sort me out a diesel auto for the duration of the repairs.
Today I have an Insignia Sri tourer tomorrow a merc c class, tbh the Insignia is quite nice but haven't had a manual for a while and I'm too lazy to be doing the gear and clutch stuff
Direct line will be getting asked for a quote when my next policy is due

Yes Jim transport sorted for now, just need to see how long it takes to repair or if its a write off. Had a better look behind the rear bumper and I think it's creased the boot floor.
My neck is a little sore this evening but an early night might help!

I find a scotch or two helps, but realistically be careful, Rick

The other guy was with Direct line.
You don't get many diesel autos in the smaller cars from the hire companies and this was all the had at short notice that ticked the boxes
Result....350 cls bluetec.

He didn't come out personally but his rep called at 08:35 the next morning and I had a replacement car by tag afternoon and the car booked for collection the same day.
Their personal injury department called today and we're very helpful too.
Direct line does what it says on the tin
