Terrano II aerial

Hi,

Looking for a terrano II aerial, i stood on mine when i was fitting the roof rack

Doesnt seem to unscrew? so will need the base & whippy bit aerial

Was lifting the Roof Tent onto the roof!! Seemed like a good idea at the time, now i only get Classic FM & Radio 4

Both the aerials on the T2 i've had have unscrewed from the body mount, my old 99 came off easily (rear mounted) but my 05 was a pig to get off (front mounted) & had to use a pair of grips on it

soak it with some WD40

Paid about 12 quid for a new one off eBay, came as a complete job lot Inc all cable

If it's a front one you need to remove center console lights and there is a bolt underneath the roof, undo this then the aerial will come off, sealant needed for new one too

That's just reminded me, I need to re-seal mine when I get the roof lining out for re-spraying as I noticed last time I jet washed the car iut was dripping in through the map lights

Ahh... it seems your car was fitted with "puddle lights".

In the twenty years I have had my Mav my roof lights have never let water in... maybe due to the fact... my aerial in on the wing... lol
