Default domestic trouble brewing?

Announced to the missus yesterday that I'll be visiting a 4x4 breakers yard on Saturday, to pick up manual hubs and anything else I might think I need.

Reaction was an uninterested "OK". Makes me wonder, what's going on

Unless I'm buying my own St Valentine present. Did bring her back some fancy jewelry from a hunting/shooting fair I visited last week, maybe that's why.

I can never understand women...
Strange thing about a women's brain, there's nothing right in left side, and nothing left on the right side...

Just to balance things up... When men try to be masterful... lol

The husband had just finished reading the book 'Man of the House.'

He stormed into the kitchen and walked directly up to his wife, pointing a finger in her face, he said,

'From now on I want you to know that I am the man of the house and my word is law. I want you to prepare me a gourmet meal tonight, and when I'm finished eating my meal, I expect a scrumptious dessert. Then, after dinner, you are going to run me my bath so I can relax. And when I'm finished with my bath, guess who's going to dress me and comb my hair?

His wife replies, 'the funeral director would be my guess'.

Can't reschedule, need my T2 in working condition as soon as possible. Getting closer to the end of the deer season, with nothing bagged yet due to weather conditions, and pigeon damage is increasing.

So I cannot wait long to have 4x4 capability without worries again.

Anyway, romantic music won't work

Reminds me of the time I spent building up my engine and gearbox and putting it in the Mini Cooper.

The block spent Christmas eve in the oven to bake dry the Green BMC engine paint!

It was Christmas Day !! Circa 1979 !

Happy days and yes still married to the same Gal she knew I was a Petrol Head.

Never had engine parts in the oven, but she did not complain (much) upon finding a roe buck head in the fridge. Didn't have time that day to boil off the meat prior to mounting it.
So I'm a happy man
