car crash Britain programme on itv at 9pm tonight ( Thursday 5th feb ) ...... footage from dash cams etc :naughty

I too can vouch for that model, brilliant ehh Pete:thumbs

Think the biggest issue with different cards is the class, first card I tried was 8gb but incorrect class and for some reason didn't loop. Bought myself a 32gb class 10 sandisk and it's spot on, gives me about 2 to 3 days of running around.

Only glitch I have is when I start the car in a morning, when the starter kicks in and draws the current my unit thinks powers been removed so closes down. Have to disconnect cig lighter plug and connect back up.

I have been using car dash cams for a long time. When i posted on here sometime ago.I got flamed about them been a waste of money, and people just used their smartphones or tablets.Someone even complained that his SD card over wrote itself when it was full of recordings.:doh

The problem with setting the record length to 3 mins is the few second of no recording between saves, that could be when the crash happens, you can alway crop the video with stuff like VirtualDub

It does not loose any recording.
