silly quiz.
Just been working on my latest scale model.
There is 300 parts to the bulldozer tracks alone.there is a total of 700 parts in the kit. That's a 1/35 scale model about 10" long. Question. How many parts are on a stock terrano out of the manufacturers? Including cogs.spring.washers. wires.nuts.bolts. springs. There's not many people that would know this.myself included. My guess would be 44,000 parts. Daft question I know. for you |

I recon Alex could strip his and let you know. But you will need to add two bumpers, some parts of the exhaust and their nuts bolts and washers.. lol...

You need a few more parameters... Which car, e.g TD, TDi, LWB, sunroof, air con, side steps, roof bars?
Also how far are you breaking the car down... E.G. is the wheel 1 item, or a sub assembly of many parts. If you break it down, tyre (a tyre is made up of many components), rim (Steel wheels are made up of 3 or more parts), valve stem (Rubber sleeve over brass insert in the valve stem for the valve to screw into), then the valve it's self is made of about 6 or so components. I reckon it must run into Millions of individual pieces. |
