STOLEN Forrest Green TD5 Defender 110CSW 8/11/08 Selby area
Stolen last night from Camblesforth, just south of Selby N.Yorks - known to a few members on here.
All stickered up as you can see in the photo so should be easy to spot, if seen out and about. Wheels as in photo, tyres are very well worn BFG AT's. Only mod is a very rusty tubular type steering guard as visible in 2nd photo. One door handle is damaged. Nearside front wing has a couple of minor dings. 6 seat belts fitted to side facing seats in the rear. |

OMG 8O 8O 8O Sorry to hear this HB as i've got some great photos of that landy in action from our 1st time green laning :roll: I've read on another site that the theft of LR 90's & 100's is becoming high & the Police are stopping all of them after dark in some areas so hopefully it maybe recovered

one of the wagon drivers was talking about how they are being stolen and shipped out of the country.cant remember where he said he was but they had pulled a wagon full of them in europe somewhere.dont know how true it is but i do know that thefts of them have increased over the last year or so.

I suspect it will be stripped for parts and many may be shipped abroard. Theres been a spat of defender thefts in Derbyshire and lesser so Yorkshire too, could well be the same gang - who knows - unless they catch someone probably no ne ever will.

No, no news I'm afraid. Sister is still haggling with insurers over payout. She could get 4 similar aged T2's for what they want to give her but she's angling for nearer 5 :
