So after my training in Birmingham i decided to kill two birds with one stone and pick up my new baby :D

I must say she drives very nicely and the motor purrs!

Not sure if i gave her too much beans on the 120 mile trip but I was doing 80/90 most of the way? Any advise on comply speeds for the engine is appreciated.

Two things i have noticed, a bit of free play on the steering (tiny wobble at around 65) and a whuuuur noise when changing gears (foot off gas n clutch pressed in) but she drives v v smooth!

I am a happy bunny. Raining too hard for pics but I will get some gooduns! :thumb2

We need pic's so go out & get wet:lol Pleased you've got it mate & i'm sure it'll serve you well:thumbs My old SWB I often used to drive at 70-80 on the motorway or like i'd just stolen it any other time but it did have a knock on effect in that the MPG was 28 as over 2.5K rpm they do use a lot more fuel but with the LWB i've got now it's rare I go over 60 as the revs are at or just under 2.5K & can get a MPG return of 32-33 if driven lightly:augie

Officially very wet but snapped a few dark pics of her.

Yeah, the speedo's on these are well out and as for your photo's, you need lights, camera, action.
I bet your like a dog with two dicks now :lol:lol

Well done mate

Trip to docs for that, get some cream :naughty

Hehe thanks buddy. I decided today (just got in) to hit some very very easy greenlanes to test the old girl. Ones a flooded Tarmac road... Bit boring, and the other was in the sticks that put the suspension to the test. (No danger of getting stuck) just water n holes. She did a great job! :D

Firebobby you seem to be quite close to me on ye olde members map. Once I get some wheels if you fancy a greenlane day out :thumb2

Mine is more of a show queen mate, but if we can locate an easy lane, I may have a go with you, defo no body damage stuff though, the thing is I use it for towing my caravan and as a high days car.
I know how good these are as I have had terry's for around 9 to 10 years and used them in anger in the snow.
