This all sounds fine but we have tv in front room of the house so all the tv man would have to do is look through the window and catch us watching tv

lets bring this down to simple money and profit
this is an estimate of course but if every person in the uk paid for a tv license it comes to £9135000000 now how big does my £145 not being there seem? at the end of the day the bbc is a profit making business and instead of making a profit with advertising etc. they had a law passed to force everyone to pay for it, and even if i did watch live broadcasts i would still refuse to pay if for personal reasons that i wont get into right now, for someone to say they are subsidising me for not having a tv license is ridiculous, and as for detector vans, yes they exist BUT only about 10 vans in the whole country and most of them don't turn on the equipment inside the van because they don't know how it works and even then it works on theory, |
