Default 4x4 thread, 4x4 content only please!

In response to some members considering there is not enough 4x4 content, i have started a 4x4 thread for 4x4 fans to talk about all things 4x4.

i have a 4x4 it's a Nissan and it's a very good 4x4, i enjoy owning it and driving it, especially in 4x4. I use the 4x4 facility to give me added traction when driving on soft surfaces my 4x4 is great - tell me about your 4x4 - does it have special 4x4 tyres or any other special 4x4 facilities?

Remember there are rules for this thread, I will not tolerate post contain the the following content:

jokes
caravans
song that move you
advice on home security
PC problems
you family
holidays
none 4x4 vehicles
solar power
your business
etc.

That's a proper 4x4 reply about your 4x4, the snow is a very good point! I also love the act that I have 2 gear levers on my 4x4, that's right not one but 2 gear levers! 4x4's are so cool

Wink

But i like my 4x4 to tow my caravan as you can see in my signature.

even in 2wd it rocks, if we are putting the caravan onto a site
thats say a wet field then into 4wd it goes, often in low box to give
more control and reduce slipping the clutch.

my tyres are ht, asit came with them, but the next set will be the kings
of AT General Grabber AT2 which are superb even in extreme off road
conditons.

Hello, my name is Clivvy and I too have a 4x4. I like to use mine as a workhorse, carting heavy shite to the recycle centre, because despite owning a large environmentally unfriendly vehicle, I love the environment. I enjoy driving mine in the snow, as mine is an SWB, I find I get great control and handling. Sometimes, I clean my 4x4, but I spend most of my time ensuring it is mechanically sound.

I havent green laned it yet, nore have I taken it off road, although I always intended to, other things have always gotten in the way. despite this, I love the Maverick, it is great to drive, looks awesome and its a pleasure to own.
