2.4i Radiator
Just found a big puddle under the car, further inspection reveales the rad is rotten. Been doing some internet browsing and they are bloody expensive...
Anyone got a good second hand one from a breaker or can recommend somewhere to get one? Need to get the car back on the road quickly as possible as it's needed for work, living on the middle of Dartmoor there is no public transport. I had a look on Milners and the price seems reasonable but the picture shows the bottom hose outlet is on the other side to mine. They are basically same side top and bottom on mine. |

17 years on a radiator from new, not very good are they.......
I remember radiators from cars from the 1970's if they lasted more than 5 years they were good. Radiator hoses lasted only a few years, mine are original 16 years old. I wonder if the rot is from the inside or from the outside? Some time back, a member got a radiator rebuilt, can't remember any more details.

There may be a date stamp on it, usually on plastic bits.
