there is another clip of the screw drive thing i found and it looks as if it is mounted inside the trailer of the vehilces in the first clip, perhaps a kind of off road 'last resort' :?: :

at the RAF museum Cosford they have a small volvo i think that is very simmilar looking, track laying with a powered track laying trailer! each half about the same size as a T2 if i remember correctly. Its a good day out there and free admission!
